Los Gauchos Restaurant
This year Los Gauchos Restaurant celebrates its Third season and what an added
delight to Pelican Resort and voted this year as # 1 people’s choice in Steak
House’s on St. Maarten.
Currently Los Gauchos seats up to 80 people Owner Liesa Euton comments: “Our
idea is to offer a great experience to our Pelican owners and guests; good
service, good food, and great prices with a touch of Argentina. All of our meals
are moderately priced from $20.00 to $25.00 per person per entrée.
The name Gauchos came about because, Gauchos are Argentine
cowboys, who for centuries roamed the country’s vast plains, the pampas, herding
cattle
and working ranches.
Los Gauchos essentially brings together the simplicity of
this life style to create a unique culinary experience for visitors of the
restaurant.
Los Gauchos Restaurant serves a variety of tempting beef, chicken, lamb,
seafood, pasta and vegetarian dishes, featuring quality Argentine steaks,tender
and juicy, charcoal-grilled to perfection accompanied with your choice of
grilled or mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables or seasoned rice and side salads.
“While savoring the juicy steaks, one can also enjoy, the exclusive Argentine
wines, available only at Los Gauchos Restaurant”.
