Insurance Coverage: ( info from Paradise Car rental)
CDW - As you may know, there are 2 types of Insurance that car rental companies offers to customers which are both optional. They are the CDW and the Personal Liability Insurance. We offer the CDW Insurance at the following rates: Small & Mid- Size Cars $ 10.00 per day Jeeps/Vans/Large Cars/SUV's $ 15.00 per day. PLPD - The Personal Liability Insurance we offer at $ 5.00 per day regardless of the type of vehicle rented. We have a deductible for any accident/loss/or theft of $ 500.00 or less assuming that the renter accept our CDW Insurance.

Please note that insurance coverage with most credit card companies is for CDW which covers the rental car and not anything you hit. In other words it protects the rented car ONLY. Your own personal car insurance, in most cases, will not cover you for an accident outside of continental North American. Be sure of your private insurance and your credit card insurance coverage before you decline insurance by the car rental company.
