ELECTION DECEMBER 2004

I have been approached several times to run for the Pelican Board. After great reflection and with the support of my husband, Dave, I have decided to submit my name to run for Board of Directors in the December 2004 election.

As many of you know, the Pelican Resort has become my labour of love. We have been owners for 15 years, and have seen good times...and not-so-good times. For the last eight years or more I have chosen to invest several hours almost every day facilitating the welfare and communication needs of the club. I invest this time and energy because I want to. I have received comments of appreciation and thanks from many owners and have hopefully contributed to owners understanding of happenings at the resort.

If elected, I pledge to continue devoting my time and energy serving all members equally for the long-term benefit of our St. Maarten home. I ask for your support.
